Who will be cleaning my home or office?

Our professional cleaners are full-time W-2 employees, not independent contractors. They undergo background checks, drug testing, and ongoing training using our proven, step-by-step cleaning system. You can trust them in your space; they’re reliable, respectful, and take pride in their work.

What services do you offer?

We provide various residential cleaning services, including standard, deep cleaning, one-time, and recurring maid services. Our deep cleaning focuses on built-up dirt and hard-to-reach areas to ensure a thorough clean. For ongoing maintenance, we offer recurring cleaning to keep your home fresh. Additionally, we cater to commercial cleaning needs with customized plans for offices, shops, and common areas, and we support move-in and move-out cleans tailored to your requirements.

How much do your cleaning services cost?

We do not offer one-size-fits-all rates because every home is different. Instead, we provide transparent, no-obligation quotes after a quick conversation about your space. Our pricing is customized based on several factors, including:

  • The size of your home or office
  • The type of service (standard recurring, one-time, or premium deep cleaning)
  • Specific needs (e.g., extra attention to kitchens, bathrooms, pets, or move-in/move-out)

How does the process work?

We don’t offer fully automated online booking because we value personal conversation for the best results.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning service?

Not necessarily. Many clients provide a key, garage code, or access instructions and aren’t home. We respect your privacy and security at all times. If you prefer to be present, that’s welcome too.

What should I do before the cleaners arrive?

To help us deliver the best possible results, it is helpful to pick up loose clutter, toys, clothing, dishes, and other personal items before we arrive. Clearing countertops and tabletops allows our Cape Crew to spend more time focusing on the detailed cleaning tasks that make the biggest difference in your home.

We love pets and are happy to work in homes with furry family members. To keep both your pets and our team safe, we ask that pets be secured or crated if they are anxious around new people, easily startled, or show any signs of aggression. This allows our technicians to focus fully on cleaning while ensuring everyone remains safe and comfortable.

What is included in a standard vs. deep cleaning?

  • Standard/Recurring: Focuses on high-touch surfaces, kitchens, bathrooms, vacuuming/mopping, dusting, and maintaining overall cleanliness.
  • Our Premium Deep Cleaning: Goes beyond routine maintenance to tackle built-up dirt and grime in often-overlooked areas. This detailed service includes scrubbing tile and grout, hand-cleaning baseboards and blinds, and, upon request, cleaning inside cabinets and appliances. It’s the perfect choice for homes that need a more thorough, top-to-bottom cleaning.

What do you NOT clean?

To ensure safety and efficiency, we typically do not:

  • Clean the inside of fireplaces
  • Do laundry or wash dishes (unless pre-loaded and requested)
  • Pick up extensive clutter or organize belongings
  • Clean pet waste or hazardous materials
  • We can only stand on a 2-step kitchen stool
  • We have a no-pest policy

What cleaning products do you use?

At Right The 1st Time, we use only eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products that are safe for your family, your pets, and your home. Over the years, we have invested significant time researching and testing products to find what truly delivers exceptional results.

Rather than chasing flashy trends or choosing inexpensive products that don’t perform, we focus on using high-quality, professional-grade solutions that clean effectively while protecting your surfaces and indoor air quality.

Our commitment is simple: use the best products available to provide the highest quality cleaning possible. Our Cape Crew arrives fully equipped with everything needed, so you never have to worry about supplying a thing.

How often should I schedule my cleaning service?

It depends on your lifestyle; that’s why we offer flexible, contract-free scheduling options:

  • Weekly or Bi-Weekly: Ideal for busy families, homes with kids/pets, or those who want “company-ready” spaces.
  • Monthly: Great for lower-traffic homes.
  • One-Time/Deep: Perfect for move-ins/move-outs, events, or seasonal resets.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please call/text 317-793-3349 or email us. Here is a cost breakdown:
    • Same-day cancellations or rescheduling: 100% of the service cost
    • 1 day before: 75%
    • 2 days before: 50%
    • 3+ days before: No charge
  For example, if your cleaning is scheduled for Friday and you cancel on Thursday, that is a 1-day notice, and a 75% fee applies.

If your cleaning is scheduled for Friday and you cancel on Wednesday, that is a 2-day notice, and a 50% fee applies.

If your cleaning is scheduled for Friday and you cancel on Tuesday (or earlier), that is a 3+ day notice, and there is no charge.

Weekend Note: Our office closes at 5 PM on Fridays. Any changes after that for a Monday appointment are considered same-day cancellations.

COVID Note: If you’re sick or have been exposed to COVID, just let us know – a one-time reschedule grace period will be granted.

We reserve this time specifically for you, and last-minute changes make it difficult to fill your spot, which directly impacts our team. We appreciate your understanding!

What happens if Right The 1st Time needs to cancel the cleaning?

If Right The 1st Time, LLC needs to cancel the cleaning, we will provide the client with 1-2 alternative dates/times ASAP.

What is the Make It Right Guarantee?

Are you insured? Who is liable?

Yes, we carry full liability insurance and workers’ compensation. You are not responsible for employment taxes, injuries, or related liabilities. Your peace of mind is important to us.
